Applications are invited for direct admission through DecentralizedCounseling in vacant seats of 1st Semester of 4-Year B.Tech. in Jute &Fibre Technology Course for the Session 2014-2018 in the vacant seats . The direct admission process will be followed through Decentralized Counseling as per the Govt. Order No. 268/Edn(T)/4E-10/12 dt.18.06.2014 of the Higher Education Department, Technical Branch, Govt. of West Bengal. Order) to obtain the relevant Govt. order (vide G.O. No. 268/Edn(T)/4E-10/12 dt. 18.06.2014) related to Decentralized Counseling – 2014 in item No. 6, Page 10-11).

Candidate has to fill up the form and to submit in hard copy along with all documents/testimonials to the Head of the Department, Department of Jute & Fibre Technology, Institute of Jute Technology, University of Calcutta at the above address as per following time schedule :

1.	Last date of submission of Application Form	:	14th August, 2014
2.	Date of display of Selection list in the Notice Board	:	20th August, 2014
3.	Date of admission paying course fee Rs. 5,000/-	:	21st & 22nd August, 2014

Amount to be deposited in cash during admission in 1st Semester only : 5,000/-.
